Tyres
Prior to fitting any tyres, all wheels are inspected with small dents being removed in steel rims. All visible rust is removed from the top and bottom bead area, ensuring a perfect seal every time.
After these checks, the tyres are expertly fitted and perfectly balanced. Naturally, before the wheel nuts are tightened by hand (so you can undo them!)

In recent years there has been a marked increase in the number of vehicle manufacturers offering run-flat tyres as a safety system on new vehicles - BMW, Mini, Lexus, Audi to name a few. We are able to offer advise on these types of tyre.
We have always had Green Policy in relation to waste, we hate to see old tyres on the roadside or disposed of without any thought for our environment, and endeavour to all ends to clean up after customers which may have had the misfortune to lose a tyre in transit, we are very much in support of TWM (Tyre Waste Management scheme).

On entering our premises, it soon becomes apparent that we are independent of any tyre manufacturer; we are not part of any tyre manufacturer or a buying group. Therefore - we don't have to push any particular brand. We believe our customers are intelligent enough to know we are telling the truth.
We have been in the tyre business since 1956 - there is nothing like the experience and the comfort of dealing with a long-established, honest & personal family business.
Our experience of commercial vehicle fleets stretches back over decades. We enjoy a very close working relationship with industry across Ireland and as part of our comprehensive service , we provide for our customers (fleet owners and owner drivers alike) with an exceptional 24/7 breakdown cover within Ireland, UK and Europe
The technicians in our Commercial Division are skilled in the maintenance of all types of vehicles including HGV, trailers, vans, tractors and forklifts, with full accredited training with safe pass etc. Account and credit facilities are available and our rates compare very favourably with any alternative service.
Parking is also not a problem. We have plenty of off-street parking available for our customers.

Tyre Information
Tyres on cars, light vans (not exceeding 3,500kg gross weight) and light trailers must have a tread depth of at least 1.6mm* across the central three-quarters of the breadth of tread+ and in a continuous band around the entire circumference of the tyre. * For goods vehicles over 3.5 tonnes the minimum tread depth requirement remains at 1mm (along with other requirements). + Breadth of tread means the width of that part of the tyre which is in contact with the road surface under normal conditions. There are many individual causes of tyre troubles. However, the three abuses which will cause most problems, and the greatest costs, are under-inflation, overloading and speeding
Over-inflation
Over-inflation has resulted in the central tread area being forced into contact with the road causing rapid centre and worn shoulders.
Under-inflation
Under-inflation has caused this tyre to wear on the outer edges of the tread, leaving the central tread area far less worn
